Interns needed for a high-end women’s design firm. Located on the lower east side, we are a couture firm with a runway show every season during fashion week. The internship is for fashion lovers who are looking to learn in a hands-on environment. The positions offered are UN-PAID in exchange for the experience. Some of the duties include:
•Assisting in designing clothing: dyeing fabrics, sewing sample Tuleh pieces and pattern drafting
•Factory runs within the Garment Industry
•Fashion show production during Fashion Week
•Assist with weekly fitting with fit models
•Run errands for sample request for private clients and major publications
•Showroom organization of samples and fittings during market week
•PR book organization of printing and recording press
•Assist with in house shipping and record keeping of garments
