Description of Seventh House PR / Showroom Seven: Showroom Seven is a press and sales based showroom with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and a temporary showroom in Paris twice a year. Seventh House PR is the public relations office within Showroom Seven. Showroom Seven has been in business for 25 years and is a leader in the national and international fashion industry. We produce fashion shows, events, dress celebrities, style photo shoots, work closely with stylists, fashion editors, buyers, etc.
Description of position: Interns will work closely with fashion publicists and sales associates. Day-to-day duties will include answering phones, greeting visitors, processing shipments, assisting in stylist and editor appointments, looking at magazines/websites for credits, checking in and out sample loans, organizing fashion closet, merchandising showroom, updating database, etc. You will learn a lot about both fashion publicity and sales and there is room to grow within the company.
