A new interactive, on-line magazine created by USC Alum and Current Survivor: Micronesia Contestant ALEXIS JONES.
This is a twenty first century magazine dedicated to empowering girls, while still maintaining the hip, trendy eye candy of magazines like People and Cosmo. We have created a hybrid between newsstand magazines and the interactivity of Myspace and Facebook. We are dedicated to providing the beauty, fashion, and celebrity influence but with an intelligent, inspiring spin. With the support of CBS and Alexis’ most recent stint on Survivor, the magazine is taking off and we need bright, confident girls dedicated to making a difference while still dancing in the world of Entertainment!
WHAT WE NEED:
PR interns- who will be pitching ideas to magazines/TV shows, helping create and execute a red carpet launch party, writing press releases/ press kits and helping to brand iamthatgirl.com
Magazine Writers Interns- who will be helping to write the actual content for the magazine including: fashion/beauty articles, boutique reviews, role model/ local girl awards,
Magazine Editor Interns- will be in charge of the organization of the magazine content and editing articles, blogs, interviews, ect.
Personal Assistant- will be the executive assistant to Alexis Jones; keeping/maintaining a calendar, being the liaison between Alexis and press/interviews/booking motivational speaking tours, and helping to maintain the overall organization of the I am That Girl company.
Requirements: That you are passionate about working with us and you have a BIG vision and are willing to DREAM BIG! This is on the brink of something huge and we would rather work with young, excited college students who want to make a difference in this world and are passionate about encouraging girls to manifest their own dreams. Obviously, we want smart, savvy, hard working students who think outside the box, who aren’t afraid to offer opinions and really bring something to the table.
