WHAT:
Successful LA based Women's Apparel Brand (sold at Kitson etc.) seeks five interns who are interested in Trend Forecasting, Apparel Design, Production, Marketing, or Office Clerical.
WHERE:
Downtown LA, Fashion District
WHEN:
2-3 times a week (negotiable)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trend Forecasting Position - Assist in putting together a style concept for each season based on women's apparel trends
Apparel Design Position - Assist in graphic design as well as body styles
Production Position - Assist with production coordination
Marketing Position - Assist with all marketing/advertising/PR efforts
Office Clerical Position - Provides daily administrative assistance in the office
REQUIREMENT:
Understanding of women's clothing trends
Strong sense of style
Computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Suite is a must - Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
Ability to hand draw and hand sketch
Business background (BA in Business/Marketing) or equivalent experience a huge plus
Professional demeanor and reliable transportation
Eagerness and commitment to succeed in the fashion industry
