Sales Intern

Internship Description:
Interns are exposed to the world of sales through being a vital supportive role to the whole sales team.

• During market week, interns will assist in showroom appointments by pulling samples, making notes for buyers and keeping the showroom neat. Though playing a background role, the intern will gain valuable experience of the selling process, for example how account executives approach their buyers and meet their selling targets by pushing certain styles.
• Other responsibilities during market include creating and managing lookbooks as changes are made to the line, and updating linesheets as needed.
• Writing up and batching orders. Checking PO’s for discrepancies.
• Helping with sampling- sending out samples to accounts, calling samples back in.
• Selling reports- helping to track weekly selling figures from our major partners by updating reports
• Inventory and showroom- keeping the showroom neat, taking daily inventory to track movement of samples.
• Research projects- into current trends and competitors. Into possible new accounts.
• Sample sales- helping to set up and run monthly internal sample sales.
