BOTKIER Social Media Internship
Botkier is seeking creative, highly motivated & social media savvy interns starting immediately. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience and learn more about the business.
The ideal candidate must be able to take initiative and work independently. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well under pressure are a must. Our intern should be active on Facebook and Twitter; a passion for fashion blogs is a major plus!
Interns will get the chance to:
-Assist in creative concepts for Social Media outlets
-Pitch ideas for the Botkier blog
-Research social media initiatives
-Participate in discussion across community sites, social networks, and blogs
-Maintain press archive with the latest magazine clippings and celebrity coverage
-Volunteering ideas for Marketing projects and initiatives
-Assist Marketing team at press previews, in-store events, and other exciting projects
-Organize and maintain the press & sales sample archive
Requirements:
-An interest in and understanding of fashion, accessories, and social media outlets
-Strong writing skills, blogging experience, flash, html knowledge a plus
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e.; Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-Strong interest in fashion or prior fashion experience is preferred
Interns should be able to commit 3 days/week starting immediately!
This is an unpaid internship but school credit may be given.
