Exciting, fast paced, friendly boutique PR agency specializing in the beauty and fashion industries, is looking for an intern. We need a stellar team player that can juggle projects without dropping the body butter, practice triage in getting the most important tasks done first (and there will be a lot of tasks) and pop out a good answer when all we have is a rough idea.
On top of being a juggler, doctor and champion charades player, we need you to be a fast learner and very organized. It’s a definite plus to both you and us if you are interested in the beauty and fashion industry.
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain media lists and editorial calendars.
· Perform research via the Internet and other PR-related sources.
· Assist in writing and producing press materials.
· Conduct media relations follow-up and pre-media relations screening.
· Provide creative brainstorming assistance.
· Compile multimedia clips into complete coverage reports.
· Perform various administrative duties

This is a great opportunity for someone to gain entry in the public relations field (NOT editorial). We would like someone that can work three days a week and can start immediately. It’s a 16-week commitment and there is a lunch/travel stipend. INTERNSHIPS ARE UNPAID.
