Producers Assistant (paid---LA)

Producer’s Assistant. This will be a PART TIME job to start. With full time option and advancement and PAY.

Multi-award winning Producer seeking a new Assistant. Several projects in development, several projects shooting. Will consider internships for college seniors or recent graduates only. Starting position is part-time with opportunity to move to full-time position by the end of March. This is an entry level position for people interesting in learning the ropes of the entertainment business form the production side. Serious applications only please.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* College degree (preferably in the arts) – or working towards one
* Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Familiarity with Photoshop and general computer literacy
* Meticulous (detail oriented)
* Eager to learn the “production side” of the business
* Hardworking (willing to work long hours when necessary)
* Willing to do Production Assistant work
* Must have own transportation.
* Willing to do Secretarial work
* Sociable and able to work well with others
*** And, most importantly, someone who is serious about producing and growing as a producer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Producer’s Assistant
Part-time to start – full-time potential
Office Work
Internet promotions and social networking (can be done from home)
Internet promotions for completed projects (can be done from home)
Phone Calls
Personal Errands or runs when necessary
Learning to deal with varied Union paperwork
Learning to create and work with professional call sheets
Learning and working with EP scheduling and EP budgeting
Potential to grow in the company
Availability to work some weekends
Availability to travel out of state for location shooting
A valid passport is a huge plus (not mandatary, but beneficial)
Availability to work off, varied and flexible hours
Opportunity to learn Assistant Directing and Line Producing
And, even get limited one-set experience

RATE:
Part-time rate (trial period 1-3 weeks) is between $0-$50 per week in gas and expense reimbursements
The full time Internships will be ongoing at $0-$50 in gas and reimbursements
The full time Assistant rate will START at $50-$400 per week commensurate with experience

ASSISTANT POSITION: Salary will range from between $200-$400 per week depending upon part-time versus full time employment. However, as we go into production on various projects (film & television), salary will increase on a per project basis depending upon your work-load on those projects.
