We are a sportswear company that designs, sells and manufactures high end women\’s clothing. Our customers are free-standing specialty stores that are usually the best store in their town. Our product line is varied. We produce pants, blouses, tee shirts, jackets and skirts. All of our production is in New York.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to learn the bare bones of the clothing business. We must handle everything from the design of the garment to the end result in a box ready for shipping. The skill sets needed are energy, committment, enthusiasm, organization, patience and more enthusiasm. No need to apply if these qualities are mysteries to you. The pace is fast and furious, everything should have been done yesterday.
There is work on the computer (Excel/Photoshop) answering phones and making calls, shipping, taking pictures and at least two thousand other things.
This is an opportunity to learn if you have the desire.
