Goorin Brothers Intern (SF)

The legacy of Goorin Brothers is one that follows a timeless approach to the art of hat making. In its fourth generation of leadership Goorin Brothers continues the tradition of authentic family craftsmanship and is supported by a team of individuals who share the same passion for the cultural, artistic and hands on approach to this century old brand. We are looking for an intern to join our team who is interested in learning about event planning, marketing, and PR, and has a great interest in fashion and accessories.


Qualification include the following:

Smart, self- driven, enthusiastic, team player, and quick learner
Passionate about marketing and fashion accessories
Exceptional and creative writer and thinker
Detail-oriented and organized
Pro in social networking - Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Myspace
Undergraduate students looking for a great opportunity to gain relevant marketing, event planning, merchandise flow, and/or communications in relation to fashion and accessories
Must be able to work at least 15 hrs. per week

Key responsibilities (are not limited to the below):

Communicating with customers and fans via our Facebook, Twitter, Myspace account
Help Event Planner organize Goorin Bros. parties and outside selling events
Keeping track and organizing event inventory
Developing and implementing contests and promotions through social media outlets to grow awareness of brand
Identifying and supporting PR efforts (mailers, contact lists)
Establishing and maintaining relationships with influential bloggers
Searching and introducing new marketing outlets and blogs
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
