PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP

Exciting, fast-paced, friendly East Village boutique PR agency specializing in beauty, wellness and fashion is looking for two new interns to start immediately. We need upbeat, stellar team players that consider her/himself fast learners and very organized. Candidate must have a love of beauty and fashion, reading, writing, magazines and style. A sense of urgency is a must, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks.

Duties include maintaining product closets, coordinating editorial mailings, compiling press materials, updating media lists, blog writing and posting, completing various administrative duties and helping with editorial events and celebrity dressing. No room for prima donna’s here!

We are a boutique agency working out of a great East Village apartment but maintain a 25 plus year reputation with the media and our clients for providing excellent publicity and public relations services. This is the place for you if you really want to learn and express your PR talents, rather than just taking orders. It's also important for you to have the right attitude... to be happy and attract good things into your life. We work with laughter and smiles... and a passion for doing things with intention and integrity.

Job Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain media lists and editorial calendars. · Perform account related research via the Internet and other PR-related sources. · Assist in writing and producing press materials, including press releases. · Conduct media relations follow-up and pre-media relations screening. · Provide creative brainstorming assistance. · Compile multimedia clips into complete coverage reports. · Perform various administrative duties
