Description: Kid Dangerous Grime Couture is an LA-based, high end streetwear company that started in the summer of 2007. Please visit our website www.kiddangerous.com to get a better feel for our brand aesthetic and to see the stores that we’re carried in which include: Nordstrom, Macy’s, Kitson, Fred Segal and many more. As a small entrepreneurial company, we have a fun, fast paced work environment where everyone in the company has a defined role but ends up contributing in a lot of different areas.

We are looking for someone who will work directly with the President, assisting in the day-to-day business operations of the company. Scope of responsibilities will include:

* Creating and sorting invoices generated from purchase orders we receive from our stores
* Data entry into our accounting program (similar to Quickbooks)
* Managing the inventory and content of our online store ( https://kiddangerous.3dcartstores.com/)
* Creating sales reports to be used in conjunction with our showroom (sales agent)
* Monitoring our manufacturing process
* Logistical responsibilities for special events, new programs (ex: campus rep program), sampling, photo shoots, etc.
* Following up with delinquent accounts for payment

Job Requirements

* Computer proficiency a must. Strong comprehension of Microsoft Word/Excel, typing skills, experience uploading/downloading files, etc.
* Strong communication skills- Intern will be interfacing with customers, showroom, other members of the company
* Strong analytical skills- Good with numbers, attention to detail very important
* Business background via education or work experience
* Interest in fashion
* Must own a laptop that can be used for work. Driving capabilities preferred but not required

Intern will work out the company’s home office in Silverlake, CA in addition to working remotely. Schedule can be fluid but hours must be consistent. All in all, it’s a great opportunity to get an inside look at how a up and coming company runs. The more you prove yourself and the more driven you are, the more responsibility you will get so we’re really looking for someone that will embrace the role and run with it.
