A new local health, wellness and eco living publication has an opening for a talented writer to assist with writing/editing articles and helping with content management for both print and online versions of the magazine. This opportunity is well suited for a candidate that is passionate about health, wellness, eco living, green business, recycling, organic, natural products and services.
Responsibilities and Skills:
Writing/editing articles as needed
Make content recommendations
Establish our presence on Facebook and Twitter
Develop content for email newsletters
Requirements:
Effective communication skills
Deadline oriented
Excellent English
Able to work independently with little supervision
Sincere and honest
Compensation and hours:
This is an unpaid internship. This is an opportunity for the right person to develop a portfolio and gain experience in magazine production/publishing. Credit in the magazine will be given.
Hours expected: 12-15 hrs/week. We offer flexibility, dynamic environment and excellent learning opportunities.
