Interior Design Library Internship

We are an interior design firm specializing in residential interiors. With projects in New York, Los Angeles, Hawaii, the Rocky Mountains, and the San Francisco Bay Area, we offer a high level of professionalism and diverse skills developed over years of dedication to residential interior design.

We are seeking a Library Intern to work directly with the Resources Manager in our extensive in-house materials library. The intern will interact on many levels of project materials sourcing and design support. The intern will gain fluency with materials specification and also gain design assisting experience in a diverse project base.

This position is ideal for a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate interior design program, and can be tailored for credit in an undergraduate interior design degree program.

Responsibilities will include:
Library Maintenance
Preparation of Presentation materials
Design Support (fabric reserves, expediting as workload allows)
P/U and Delivery of Memo Samples and merchandise
Office support (phones, filing)
Project Archiving
Research / Sourcing (materials, furniture, antiques)

Position is part-time, though hours/days are negotiable. (+ or - 20 hours a week)

Must have own vehicle/reliable transportation
Must be currently enrolled or recent graduate of an accredited Interior Design program.
Familiarity with SFDC showrooms and showroom protocol a plus, but not necessary (will train.)
