INTERNSHIP

The Sewing Studio, your haute spot for learning to sew.

IN-STUDIO Internship: Join our Toronto location for a four-month internship. You’ll guide and support students who come in for Free Studio Time and assist managers with office duties ranging from handling registrations to prepping the studio for classes and corresponding with past and present students. In-studio internships require eight hours of work each week on Sundays and Wednesdays from 2 - 6 p.m. You’re required to be at the Toronto studio for one of those days each week, and the other day you’ll work from home.

What’s in it for you?
- Work for a growing company with other young, creative minds.
- Add industry-related experience to your fashion or sewing resume.
- During your in-studio internship, you may use the studio for your personal projects at any time and take our courses at no cost.
- The Sewing Studio hires internally. When we need a freelancer, new instructors, or someone to fill a position in the office, we look to our past and present interns. Will you be one that stands out?

Internship requirements
- You must have a passion for sewing and learning as well as a strong technical background in sewing.
- Candidates must be reliable, hard working, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident on the phone.
- You need daily access to a computer and email. (In-studio candidates must have a laptop with wireless access.)
- In-studio interns are required to take at least one program (at no charge) during their internship.

Send your resume and cover letter to: internship@lovesewing.com.
