Social Radius, a social media marketing company behind such well-known campaigns as the “Yes We Can” viral video by Will.i.am that was the hit of the Obama campaign, plus corporate clients ranging from Philips to fashion brands, is seeking a razor-sharp social media enthusiast who combines technology passion with rock-solid research and writing. Familiarity with blogosphere, Facebook and Twitter vital (active authors of blogs or podcasts a big plus), previous internships in an agency environment also a plus, but not required. This position involves heavy blog research and analysis, crisp writing and critical thinking skills. Best fit is a college senior who wants to jumpstart their career in a Web 2.0 environment and realizes that social media is the tail that will soon be wagging the dog. Get in on the rocketship ride. Part-time with paid stipends available now. The position is based in the agency’s headquarters in beautiful Marina del Rey facility alongside the boats, although some telecommuting is permitted for those who do not live on the Westside.
