Eco + Sustainable Fashion - Echo Road Internship, Seattle

Echo Road is an innovative Seattle shop exclusively dedicated to socially and environmentally advanced fashion.

Echo Road offers fashionable, functional styles from companies that produce sweatshop-free, sustainable fiber, low-impact dyed clothing. We hope you'll fall in love with a few pieces and wear them for years to come.

We are currently looking for 3 interns. If you are interested in one or more of these roles, we'd love to hear from you.

Research

Analyze and compile articles, news sources, and other public information on the apparel industry and other related topics. Interview designers and industry experts to create online profiles.

Design

Prototype and create special items such as garment bags, shopping bags and other Echo Road products from reclaimed and vintage materials. Assist with de-threading, steaming, occasional repairs and alterations.

Shop and Administrative

Get a taste of the many aspects of business ownership. If there's a particular area you'd like to focus on, we're willing to work with you. In general, it's an opportunity to work behind the scenes and with customers. Possible duties could include: assisting with website and marketing material updates, photo shoots, public relations, blog contribution, organizational projects and other miscellaneous errands.
