Job Description:
The Advertising Research Analyst will be part of the market research team that focuses on advertising industry information. This individual will be responsible for identifying, gathering and cataloging advertisements across multiple mediums from specific advertisers to provide the company with a better understanding of messaging and media mix used by those advertisers. If time permits, this individual will also be responsible for writing synopses of the advertising campaigns, highlighting their key messages and language choices, to make the catalog of advertisements even more useful. (Please note that this is an unpaid, for academic credit internship).

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for using multiple tools to find and gather advertisements on a list of products from online, print and TV mediums.
• Catalog advertising creative and media placement information in a CBSi wiki (May involve scanning print advertisements.)
• Identify key messages and language choices in the advertisements.

Qualifications:
• Currently working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university
• Able to earn school credit for internship hours
• 3.0 or above GPA
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven experience delivering high quality results on professional or academic projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet application. HTML knowledge is desired, but not required
• Interest in media and advertising highly desirable
