Current is a new breed of media company that works with its young adult audience to create media that informs, enriches and inspires. Through our TV network, Current TV, and our website, Current.com we distribute viewer-created content as well as internally developed content that is relevant to the lives of young adults.

Our integrated television and online platforms provide an immersive and interactive experience for our audience. For example, our website, Current.com is a full-fledged social news site that works in concert with our TV network by creating, uploading and evaluating content. Our unique approach gives us exceptional results: more than one third of the programming on Current TV comes from viewers.

Current’s award-winning programming ranges from the hottest trends in technology, fashion and music, to pressing issues such as the environment, finance and politics. We won both an Emmy and a Webby – how’s that for convergence? Current is now viewed in the U.S., U.K. and Italy in more than 58 million households through distribution partners Comcast (Channel 107 nationwide), Time Warner (nationwide), DirecTV (channel 358 nationwide), Dish Network (channel 196 nationwide), BSkyB (channel 183), Virgin Media Cable (channel 155) and Sky Italia (channel 130).
