Details of Internship:
Womens fashion company specializing in contemporary clothing, is in immediate need of an intern who wishes to be a part of the fashion industry and work directly with the company\’s designer 2-3 days a week.
The internship will last 3-4 months, with a possibility of continuing the internship for the following season, in order to gain college credit for the internship.
We are looking for someone who is honest, enjoys fashion and learning about the industry, reliable, intelligent, and has a flexible schedule.
The internship may include the following responsibilities;
-Assist with presenting the line to buyers
-Participate in various events
-Interact with vendors and factories
-Assist at trade shows; help with sales, fitting models, organizing/steaming garments, tagging, helping with the look of the booths, and packing/unloading boxes.
-Organize samples to be shipped, tag garments
-Take notes and photograph clothing at fittings
-Assist with current collection at photoshoot
Compensation will be $10- $15 per day to cover transportation and food cost.
