Interns Wanted Fashion Garments – Downtown LA and Commerce (Non-Paid) Join the Garment Division of Lafayette Textile as it embarks to make a bigger imprint on the Fashion Industry. Be part of its sales and marketing team which handles cutting edge clothing line Sterling Williams, fresh and upbeat ladies line of Envae, the 100% bamboo shirts of Sunday Rocks, and also private labels. You will experience product development and manufacturing at Lafayette’s 140,000 square ft. production facility including hands on training to improve products from its conceptualization to its eventual production. Participate in making sales call, sales forecasting, customer service, and other sales related endeavors. While also helping implement Lafayette’s marketing strategy to properly place the products and services in the print media with publications, online media with social networks and blogs, fashion and trade shows including parties and gifting suites, and other avenues.The work environment is high paced so applicant must be a fast learner and should be a committed team player. Effective communication and organizational skills are important. While this is an internship training, applicant must contribute in the learning process and not just be a spectator. He/She must be prompt, punctual, positive attitude and fashion conscious. Internships will be on a part-time basis. Schedule is flexible. Minimum of 15 hours a week.
