Each summer, Coach offers a Summer Internship Program in our New York City corporate headquarters. The program provides interns the opportunity to develop critical skill sets and gain hands-on experience in a fast paced environment while contributing to the performance of a high performing luxury accessories brand. Internships consist of day-to-day work within the intern’s specific department, as well as learning sessions with top executives across the organization. Each intern works closely with a mentor who gives guidance and enhances the learning experience through feedback and coaching, and interns also attend social events where they have the opportunity to network with other interns and Coach employees.

The Retail Merchandise Planning (RMP) team is looking for a summer intern with outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, who is interested in retail buying and inventory management, and who is passionate about a career in the fashion and luxury goods industry. The Retail division consists of Full Price and Factory Store channels, as well as Coach.com. The RMP department is responsible for partnering with Finance to develop annual operating plans based on business analysis, developing and executing strategic initiatives, building product assortments, determining how much product to procure for the Retail Channels, and developing and implementing merchandising strategies for our Retail division. Interns will support the team with a variety of projects and learn about all aspects of retail planning and allocation. Examples of potential projects include analyzing sales and inventory reports to help determine trends and meet business objectives, and supporting the team by preparing materials for presentations and meetings. This is an opportunity for a candidate interested in studying business trends and performing business and financial analysis to learn all about the career field of retail planning and allocation.

This 10-week, full-time internship will carry a stipend from the Holy Cross Leadership Council of New York.
