NYC, NY- Fashion Design Intern

We are looking for fashion design interns for
summer: May-August, although you are not
required to be here that whole time.

Requirements
Knowledge of Excel and Photoshop
Hardworking and responsible
Knowledge of illustrator
Past internship experience a plus
Past work experience a plus
Fashion design degree a plus
Must be available to work at least two full days a week for a minimum of two months.


About:

We are a high-end contemporary womenswear
company called Mint by Jodi Arnold. Our line hangs
with 3.1 Philip Lim, Vena Cava, Marc by Marc Jacobs, etc.

We are a small company of around 15 people, and
you will be getting excellent hands on training in
various areas of the company. No one day is the
same - you could be styling models in a photo
shoot, creating a bead layout, cutting swatches,
sourcing trims, running a sample sale, sewing on
buttons; the list is endless. Because we are a small
and growing company there are constant
opportunities for growth for the right candidate.

We are located in the heart of New York City’s
garment district just below times square on 39th
street between 7th and 8th avenues and easily
accessible by the
1,2,3,R,W,N,Q,A,C,E,B,V,D,F,S,7 trains. This is an
unpaid internship, but it is an experience
unmatched.
