Us Weekly Editorial Internship (LA)

Us Weekly is currently looking for well-qualified students or recent graduates to intern in the editorial department of Us Weekly magazine during the Summer 2010 semester. Interns must be highly-motivated, organized, up-beat and responsible individuals with an interest in celebrity news and pop culture. Please do not contact us if you cannot commit to three days a week. Some duties that will be expected of interns include: transcribing taped interviews, conducting man-on-the street polls, using Lexis Nexis and Other search engines to find celebrity quotes and other related research, performing regular office duties, expert interviews, red-carpet interviewing, and, yes, occasionally getting coffee. Internship is unpaid but priceless in terms of experience value. School credit is available.

Interns must be in Los Angeles and must be available immediately.

Webisode/Communications Intern (Flatiron)

ARE YOU A SAVVY INTERN?
Dynamic communications/marketing firm is seeking four fashion-forward female interns who are highly motivated and interested in being part of an exciting start-up lifestyle website.
Candidates should be energetic, have an outgoing personality, be task-oriented, organized and ready to work 20-30 hours per week. You will be exposed to celebrities and get amazing on-the-job training.
Job responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
• Collecting data for website and helping in uploading/designing material
• Monitoring website
• Assisting on Webisode shoots with celebrities
• Creating and conducting on-the-street vlogs
• Managing the packaging and shipping of sample products
• Researching all mediums for website material

Taipei Design Center San Francisco (TDCSF) is a branch office of Taiwan Design Center. Located in Burlingame, it is a non-profit business development organization that aims to facilitate cooperation between creative communities between Taiwan and USA.

TDCSF is currently seeking 2 positions,
1. Part-time paid Internship

-Job descriptions for part-time internship
To assist with:
1. Write summarized report for events
2. Write summarized report with translation from Chinese article to English
3. Prepare content for interviews with industry leaders.

Requirement:
Fluent in both English and Chinese
Excellent writing skill in English
Have experience in editing
Interests in travel, design, marketing, literature and creative relative areas
Student preferred

2. Part-time website developer

To help with website content updates on a regular basis

Requirement:
Able to work on both Mac and PC platforms
Understanding English and Chinese
Good in visual presentation, design major preferred
Student ok
