Amazon Fashion is seeking creative, goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial people to join our exciting and fast-paced team. We are heads-down focused on growing and developing a smart assortment of brands and providing easy access to fashion, within the best possible shopping experience for our fashion customers.


If you are equally passionate about fashion, e-commerce and career growth, an opportunity as a Buyer / Vendor Manager with Amazon Fashion may be a great match! In this role, a successful candidate will be able to lead the planning and execution of merchandise initiatives to grow the rapidly expanding retail business at Amazon profitably.

Buyers will be able to analyze and recommend market opportunities as well as develop existing brand businesses and relationships. The candidate will negotiate independently with vendors as well as internally at Amazon. Within the fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will manage multiple projects concurrently and lead team initiatives.

Online Marketing/Social Media Lead (Palo Alto)

Cocobop.com is a pre launch start up that will change the way women buy accessories forever and if you love fashion and have a history of working in the space, then we should talk. We are currently searching for our Online Marketing/Social Media Lead with exceptional Digital Marketing Analytics, Social Networking and Project Management skills. You will be an integral part of a social media/marketing department, developing and implementing regular campaigns. You will plan and execute programs using best practices and techniques to increase brand visibility, grow and build community relationships. The position will focus on cutting edge tactics for new and emerging social media platforms to include Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, etc. In this role the you will have all the freedom you can think of, to develop, implement, analyze and report on post campaign results and future campaign goals, ideas, planning and testing. 

Some of the things you'll be doing:
• Manage all aspects of planning, execution and reporting on all marketing and social media campaigns
• Assist with development of all marketing strategies, audiences and email test plan designs
• Set-up social platforms to include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, widgets and applications
• Analyze all campaigns and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Liason with design, e-commerce, marketing and IT to ensure requirements are being met
• Test and QA check all email campaigns for compatibility with web browers and email clients to ensure links, images, subject lines and list segments are in order

What are we looking for:
• Creativity and out of box thinking
• Deep understanding of execution and workings of social media channels -- facebook, twitter, blogs and email
• Numbers driven decision making
• Love for Fashion, ideally having worked in the space as a marketeer, stylist, writer, blogger, buyer, etc
• Sense of humor and passion for story telling -- and writing
• Knowledge of basic HTML, Digital marketing, Web development and general marketing concepts
• Time management and exceptional organizational skills
• Exceptional verbal and written skills
• Exceptional work ethics, ability to work well with others under pressure and to meet deadlines

Summer Internship - eCommerce (Lucky Brand) (Vernon)

Lucky Brand is a rapidly growing brand offering apparel, accessories, fragrances, and jewelry for women, men and children. Established in 1990, Lucky Brand has become one of America's favorite denim brands with a sense of humor evident in its trademark "Lucky You" fly. Lucky Brand products are sold through its own 226 retail and outlet stores within the US, its company website (www.luckybrand.com), select group of high-end department and better specialty stores, and through international retail partners in Asia, Middle East, and Canada.

The Lucky Brand Summer 2010 Internship Program is intended to help acclimate Junior and Senior level university/college students to our company culture, build on their creativity, and allow them the best opportunity to get to know Lucky Brand. This program is designed to identify, develop and potentially hire top entry level talent.

Our Summer 2010 Internship Program is part time and for-credit ONLY. This opportunity is available in our Los Angeles,CA offices.


Responsibilities:
As an intern with the Lucky Brand Ecommerce team you will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of how an online business is run from the necessary elements needed to sell product online to driving customers to the website to why customer’s look, but don’t shop online.

As an intern you will be focusing on daily business activities in the ecom world as well as manage and present a project that will be assigned to you. You will also provide assistance to the ecom team where needed on daily tasks and/or projects.

Your areas of responsibility will have a direct and immediate impact on Lucky Brand’s ecommerce business.

Key areas of responsibility for the eCom/Online Intern will include:
•Cataloging and transferring product samples used for website product shots to photography studio
•Tracking status of both photography and description copy, ensuring everything is submitted in a timely manner prior to the in-Market date
•Assisting with all of the necessary elements required to make product available for purchase online e.g. finalizing product description information, placing product in appropriate categories, confirming inventory availability, etc.
•Preparing for upcoming seasons creating Purchase Orders and creative styles
•Participating in the weekly Ecom business, operational & brainstorm meetings as their projects and schedule permits
•Deliver a major internship project end to end (will be assigned once we know the interns strengths/interest)


Qualifications:
•Energetic and driven individual
•Prior experience or interest in in Ecommerce and/or Internet, considered a plus
•Interest in the fashion industry, considered a plus
•Strong planning and organizational skills
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical
•Ability to multi-task in a high paced fluid environment while ensuring deliverables are met within assigned deadlines.
•Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, Word.


Minimum Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
* You must be eligible to receive credit for this internship from your college/university
* You must be a junior or senior level student
* Past retail or fashion industry experience is preferred but not required
