Chromaculture Apparel Internship (SF)
We need some help this summer to reach out to potential customers! If you've got ideas, we're excited to hear them and work with you!
We need someone to work 2-3 days/week, sometimes including planned weekend events, for 2-3 months this upcoming summer, depending on your availability.
Job duties include:
- managing our social media (ie: creating weekly posts on our Tumblr blog, occational updates on Twitter & Facebook, and adding to our Pinterest & Instagram)
- assisting with direct email outreach to corporate companies, non-profits, and other local organizations, plus helping brainstorm other potential business
- assembling orders and shipping packages
- organizing samples
- assisting in event planning and tabling at summer markets and concerts
We can offer you:
- valuable hands-on experience in seeing a start-up begin from the ground-up
- hands-on experience learning how to screen print (and possibly some free t-shirts)
- experience in tabling at local events including farmers markets, flea markets, craft fairs, and concerts
- snacks when you're hungry
- Small stipend
Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about fashion, the Made-in-America movement, and are okay with miscellaneous duties involved with helping a start-up. Preferably we'd like someone who can receive university credit.

We are seeking an intern assistant to support our Sales team, especially in preparation for New York Fashion Week and Market. Market encompasses showing the Spring 2011 Collection to buyers, distributors and VIPs.
During your internship you will have the opportunity to:
?- Gain hands-on experience by serving our VIP clients and customer
- Participate in sales and customer service events, as well as industry events?- Work on creative visual merchandising
- Learn how to bring a brand to life
- Prepare the showroom for buying appointments
- Prepare sales tools for buying appointments
- Assist with outreach to buyers
- Assist and dress our in-house fit model during buying appointments
- Assist with maintaining and updating our online initiatives
?- Assist with photographing merchandise and creating marketing material
- Work on special projects or activities as directed
?- Assist with general day-to-day operations
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Ability to multi-task
- Responsible with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office?, outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- An eye for detail and a strong sense of fashion
You must be available at least 2 or more full days a week. In the lead up to and during New York Fashion Week, you will be required to have the flexibility to work on a near full-time basis.

Position Description: This position requires a detail-oriented person to help maintain marketing tools and archives.
