Telemarketing and Appointment Scheduling Position (Sacramento)

Telemarketing and Scheduling position available immediately!

I am looking for an energetic and articulate person to do telemarketing and appointment scheduling for my insurance agency. This is a part-time, no-contract, at-will position.

JOB DUTIES
- Telemarketing (mix of cold calling and follow-up calls)
- Detailed note taking on call activity
- Computer data entry
- Scheduling appointments via a web-based contact management program

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 18 years or older
- High school education and some college preferred
- Previous experience a PLUS, but not essential
- Quick thinking and comfortable speaking on the phone – ability to improvise as client information is learned during a phone call
- Energetic – positive energy and attitude – You cannot be shy!
- Computer competency including the use of the internet, spreadsheets, word processing, and general navigation (I will NOT be training on the use of a computer. You MUST know how to easily navigate in a Windows environment)
- Organized – keep track of calls and call lists
- Legible handwriting and good note taking skills – detailed notes on each call conversation
- Willingness to learn
- Fun with good sense of humor! No exceptions!

This is an entry level position at $8 per hour as a starting wage. There will be a “trial” period to make sure the job is a good fit for both. This is a part-time, no-contract, at-will position.

Job is 2-4 hours in the evenings, Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday 10-2pm.

Telemarketing - Part Time(Sacramento / Arden )

Maximum Security Alarm, Inc., the nations largest Monitronics dealer, is seeking high energy, money motivated individuals to join our crime prevention call center. Marketers are responsible for calling home & business owners and setting appointments for our security consultants to give 15-20 min in-home demonstrations of our security and medical alert systems.

Our promotional customers receive the security equipment at no cost just pay for the monitoring service with Monitronics, which is only about a dollar a day.

This is a an appointment setting position! Although sales skills are helpful, there is no selling involved! We are willing to train the right people to join our fun and friendly atmosphere.

There is no telemarketing experience required to apply for this position. However, customer service and sales experience are a plus and excellent communication skills are a MUST!

Our telemarketers can earn $600 - $800 weekly working only 26 hours. Our above average marketers can earn over $1000+ a week!
We do have a base hourly rate of $8.00 +Bonuses.
