Responsibilities

• Support Advertising as required with mailings, media kits, database entry, lead-list generation, and general administrative tasks.
• Support Marketing as required for tactical activities including brief write-ups, research projects, marketing collateral, and social events.
• Work across all internal cross-functional departments to ensure communication and project objectives are met and delivered on time.

Requirements

• Interest in the entertainment industry and pop culture
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong project management and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with existing social media applications (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)

Celebrity Fashion Blog Internship


Celebrity Fashion Blog Intern
Celebrity fashion website, RedCarpet-FashionAwards.com is seeking interns to contribute to their blog presence.

The ideal candidate must have strong writing skills, know Emma Stone from Emma Roberts and be an avid fashion follower. You should be familiar with current trends and designers.

Photoshop experience is a plus but not essential.

This is a remote and unpaid position, so you should have access to a computer and the internet.

We are looking for blogging interns to cover the following:

*Celebrity red carpet looks
*Celebrity trends
*Runway trends
*Frugal celeb looks
*Fashion news
*Weekly must haves from online boutiques.
*Red Carpet Menswear

New ideas welcome are also welcome.

Us Weekly Editorial Internship (LA)

Us Weekly is currently looking for well-qualified students or recent graduates to intern in the editorial department of Us Weekly magazine during the Summer 2010 semester. Interns must be highly-motivated, organized, up-beat and responsible individuals with an interest in celebrity news and pop culture. Please do not contact us if you cannot commit to three days a week. Some duties that will be expected of interns include: transcribing taped interviews, conducting man-on-the street polls, using Lexis Nexis and Other search engines to find celebrity quotes and other related research, performing regular office duties, expert interviews, red-carpet interviewing, and, yes, occasionally getting coffee. Internship is unpaid but priceless in terms of experience value. School credit is available.

Interns must be in Los Angeles and must be available immediately.
