About the Company
We are a children's apparel company that has been in business for 25 years.
Currently, we are looking for a customer service/ sales representative who can also help with production.
Our ideal candidate has experience working with apparel companies (experience with childrenswear a plus!), and with apparel software, such as File Maker Pro/Apparel Magic.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Taking customer calls in order to help them with placing orders and offering solutions to their problems

Responding to customer emails in a professional manner

Working effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems

Data and Order Entry (experience working with with Excel a must!)

Setting up new customer accounts

Creating and managing website content such as inventory, product description, EDI, Amazon, etc

Helping production/design team by building BOMs

Experience working with Amazon.com and flash sale web companies such as Zulily/Haute Look/Gilt is a plus

In House Sales

Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram etc) and Website Updates

Qualifications:

1-2 years of customer service, sales and/or order processing experience preferred

Online business experience is a plus

Must be computer proficient and able to learn required software programs

Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with customers in a professional manner in person and by phone

Must have analytical thinking skills and detail oriented personality

Microsoft Word and Excel experience

Photoshop, HTML, and e-commerce experience is a plus

You must be comfortable multitasking as we are a small company and our employees wear many hats!

Interest/experience working with children's clothing customer service, sales and/or production a plus.

We are located in Culver City, next to the new Metro Station.

An eco friendly clothing company that outfits toddlers (ages 2-6) with imaginative designs focusing and bringing awareness to endangered animals.

Internship Description

Research children’s market, write, edit and distribute press releases to targeted media. Also maintain and update info on website, prepare and supervise the production of brochures, flyers, etc.. In general, we are looking for someone to help grow the company through various marketing efforts, brand identity awareness and out-of-the-box, innovative thinking.

Additional Info

Confident, dedicated, pr experience a plus but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
