We are an entertainment company that specializes in planning exclusive intimate events as well as celebrity marketing for corporate and fashion companies.

Each semester, we hire a few interns who want to work in marketing, fashion or event planning. We are a small company so you will be helping with events and tasks hands on. Interns will be expected to work according to our event/ project schedule. This is the perfect company for someone looking to become immersed within the entertainment/ fashion world via our high profile events & projects. This is a high energy, fast paced environment: we frequently take on projects and events requiring quick turnaround. Recent and current projects include the "MILK" premiere party, R&Y Augousti dinner honoring Kate Beckinsale, Proenza Schouler luncheon, Toronto Film Festival premiere parties and dinners, President of Georgia Cocktail Reception, Sundance Film Festival premiere dinners, Oprahs Big Give Party to benefit ebkids.org, Glamour Magazine cocktail party, & Sean "Puffy" Combs from Harlem to Hollywood fete'. Current celebrity wardrobing Clients include: Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Jack Vartanian jewelry and vitaminwater.

Academic credit is offered. This is an unpaid internship, with a potential for future employment. Must be available to work 2-3 days a week and have reliable transportation.

Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Knowledge of textile industry and of customers’ trades: know how to analyze the client’s organization and workflow regarding the solution (auditing techniques)
o Perfect knowledge of Lectra's products (including KaledoPrint, Weave, Knit, Style, Collection, as well as CAD applications such as Modaris, Diamino, 3D fit) and of the Training catalogue
o Mastery of all hardware and software configurations of the training room, as « application administration» and be able to make them operational = detect hardware and software dysfunction
o Excellent communications skills and public speaking experience
o Attention to detail is imperative
o Self disciplined and able to multi-task


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
o Four-year College Degree required – Textiles / Pattern Design Degree preferred
o Two (2) years industry experience utilizing the appropriate hardware/software applications
o Technical sales ability to present a solution or program to a customer
o Mastery of Educational tools used to transmit know-how as well as of Training techniques for adults within a commercial scope
o Mastery of office tools (to design documents): Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Practice of the techniques used to conduct professional skills assessment within the scope of a job-oriented process (skills survey)
