4 Student Positions Offered - Sales, Graphics/Media, Admin, Shipping (South SF)

O'BON is a trendy, up & coming producer and distributor of eco-friendly school and office supplies. We are very new to the United States, having formed in 2007. We are looking to add a few key positions to our team as we prepare for a big jump in 2010. Find out more about our company and our products at www.myobon.com. The following positions are described in detail below.

Sales Assistant (Internship) - 16-32 hrs/wk This is an internship position paying 10% in commission. As a relatively young business, an important part of our growth is in finding retailers, businesses and schools to purchase our products. Your duty will be to find leads, open new accounts and establish excellent rapport with customers. Although prior sales experience is not required, it is advised that you are at least familiar with the challenges of being an excellent sales representative. Knowledge of Salesforce/Zoho & Quickbooks is a plus, though we could train you in a heartbeat.

Graphics/ Social Media (Internship) - 16-32 hrs/wk This is an unpaid internship position with the potential for paid employment after a probationary period. O'BON is a very modern company that recognizes the importance of social media. Your responsibility will be to update, manage and interact through facebook, youtube, twitter and flickr as well as various blogs and Web 2.0 properties. You will use social media to expand our fan and customer base as well as keep people informed. From the graphical standpoint, we need assistance in creating promotional materials, banners and other general graphics. Knowledge of Adobe CS is important. Part of this responsibility will be to occasionally create and update graphical elements for the new O'BON website and O'BON Catalog, both scheduled to launch on January 1st, 2010.

Shipping (Part-time) - 24-32 hrs/wk This is a paid position of $9/hour. Your responsibility will be to pack and ship orders to customers. Knowledge of Quickbooks, UPS and USPS is a plus. Good packing and shipping habits are expected :P

Admin (Internship) - 20-32 hrs/wk This is an unpaid internship position with the potential for paid employment after a probationary period. As an office assistant, your job will be to answer phones and respond to questions, forward emails, keep the office well stocked, write checks, scheduling and handle tax duties. Knowledge of accounting software is a plus. This is a position that prioritizes exceptional work ethic, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

We are excited about building a strong team going into 2010 and would love to bring in dedicated, committed and intelligent individuals. Although these positions are intended for students based on the excellent educational experience and the hours/wk we seek, graduates are encouraged to apply. Degree information including name of University and dates of graduation would be a good addition to resumes/cover letters sent in.

ALSO, PLEASE STATE WHICH POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.

Can't wait to meet you! Thanks for applying :)
