The Hollywood Reporter, a weekly entertainment and lifestyle magazine with a website read by millions every month, is now accepting applications for its unpaid summer 2013 editorial internship semester, which will run from May through August. Duties primarily include article research, interview transcription, fact-checking, proofreading, web production and attendance at daily editorial meetings — as well as occasional writing assignments.
Applicants must be eligible for college credit and commit to a two-day rotation, from 9:30AM to 6:30PM.

HGTV Art/Photo Internship

HGTV Magazine, a new Hearst publication that launched in October 2011, is looking for an art/photo intern for the Spring 2013 semester. 
Responsibilities include:
  • photo research 
  • invoicing 
  • printing/calling in photographer and stylist portfolios
  •  requesting high-res images 
  • shopping for props & other administrative duties.
The intern will need to have experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop & Bridge. Should be completely fluent in both Microsoft Office and Mac platform. VOGUE is looking for an editorial intern for the fall semester to assist market editor Jessica Sailer, ideally starting first week of December.

You must be able to work 3 days a week, for a minimum of 8:00am until 6:30pm. More days are preferred and longer hours do happen.

Qualifications:

The Sacramento Press is an online, citizen journalism publication dedicated to providing the best in local news. We have been online since October of 2008 and we hope to continue to grow with the help of dedicated interns who are integral to our success.

As an intern at the Sacramento Press, you will be a huge part of our day-to-day success.
