Chromaculture Apparel is a growing, private label, design oriented, screen-printing and branding company in Marin. We design and print apparel, posters and packaging for businesses, schools, events and local labels in the Bay Area. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
-Producing CAD Designs from garment shapes to prints/embellishments for sportswear and leisurewear for various Football/Rugby clubs in the UK and Europe, across men's, ladies and children's wear for all product areas, including, t-shirts, sweats, knitwear and accessories. Following either original samples or existing designs.
-Creating designs for clients branding ( swing tickets, back neck labels).

-Developing artwork sheets to send to factories when a order is placed, to illustrate all the garment details correctly and in detail, print measurements, colours etc.

-Print out cad design presentations to give to sales managers and to send to the clubs.
-General assistance with steaming garments, helping with organizing trade shows, sorting out samples and hanging garments etc.
-Attend sales meetings and taking notes regarding new designs and amendments.
-Assist with the Design departments goals and be able to give ideas and opinions.
You will however together with your mentor establish your own goals and projects.

• A degree in an adequate area

What's more, upon successful completion of our Internship program, you may be offered an assistant manager or salesperson position, depending on availability and your preferences.
Responsibilities
· Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
· Maintain an active awareness of the merchandise available in the department and store and be able to service customers as needed
· Perform daily department maintenance tasks, including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns and light cleaning
· Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible
· Open new Nordstrom Fashion Rewards accounts as a means of building customer relationships
· Consistently seek new fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
· Participate in a 10-week learning program
· Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team*
Qualifications
· Experience or education in retail
· Enthusiasm for fashion and knowledge of current trends
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Vagadu is an innovative clothing line that draws inspiration from fine art to create one-of-a-kind fashion pieces with reclaimed fabrics. Intern will help assemble and have creative input on the design of the fall collection under the supervision of Artistic Director.
Responsibilities for Design Intern include but are not limited to: the practice of creating cutting patterns, draping garments, sewing & assembling clothing articles, creating accessories, mending and finishing garments.
Aside from the responsibilities mentioned above, Intern will make contact with design and arts organizations supporting the fashion industry, learn small business development strategies, with the possibility of co-producing a spring fashion show.
The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for assembling clothes, strong experience in fine sewing, enjoy hand sewing, interest in green fashion, and is seeking to gain exposure in the independent fashion/events industry while building one's resume profile. Your creativity and ability to attention to detail are essential.
