INTERN FASHION DESIGNER FOR HANDBAGS (Pomona)

Looking for a fashion design intern with key eye for detail and trends, with experience working with handbags!
Must be a hard working, organized, diligent, self starter with ability to multi-task. Fashion design background a MUST.

Best candidate will have the following:

- Understanding of smart design/utilizing materials to create cohesive collections and help to build minimum order requirements
- Strong understanding of both design and functionality for handbags
- Knowledge of trends, handbag shapes, fashion, and materials a MUST
- Proficient in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Sketching abilities highly recommended
- Close attention to detail/ organized
- Own computer appreciated, but not necessary
- Available 2-3 days a week, with reliable transportation to Pomona, CA.

This is a, entry level PAID internship with opportunity for growth. A percentage of commission will be paid for any handbags produced.

-Working with local boutiques and vendors to create relationships with both new and longtime customers, bringing creative PR strategy to Bella Bag to expand the business name and reputation

-Inventory management and organization

Qualifications:
-Available for at least 14 hours/week
-Knowledge of luxury handbag brands: specifically Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel
-Understanding of fabrics and textiles
-Strong standing against Counterfeiting & Piracy
-Knowledge of Social Media

-Excellent creative communication and writing skills
