Marketing Internship for Bridal Website ( seattle)

THIS IS A PART-TIME THREE MONTH INTERNSHIP

BravoBride is an exciting, online start-up focused on the bridal industry. We are a growing business and looking for a college senior or recent graduate. BravoBride is the largest online marketplace where brides and newlyweds can buy and sell new and pre-owned wedding items, from designer wedding dresses and jewelry to shoes, favors, reception items and more. Candidates need to have knowledge or an interest in wedding fashion, products and vendors. The candidates must be familiar with the Internet, blogging, marketing and social networks.

Intern will receive hands-on experience in a variety of marketing projects such as online promotions, email and print direct mail, social networking, PR and advertising.

Responsibilities including:

  • Researching and building lists of potential marketing and vendor partners and customer prospects
  • Preparing and managing email campaigns
  • Assisting with customer service: returning inquiry calls, sending relevant materials, database maintenance for direct mail etc.
  • Helping devise a social networking marketing strategy and participating in social networks on behalf of BravoBride
  • Tracking effectiveness of various marketing activities
  • Other administrative tasks as needed

    Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Internet, social networks and proficiency with Microsoft required
  • Should be able to work independently, organize and prioritize work, juggle several projects at once, have a keen eye for detail
  • Must use a positive, proactive, solution-oriented approach to problems
  • Must be outgoing, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be available an average of 10-12 hours per week over the spring (weekdays preferred) but we are flexible with school schedules
  • Prefer candidates pursing degrees in marketing, public relations, communications, English, journalism and business. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. To apply: Position available starting February 26th. Please submit cover letter and resume.
