International Image Consulting Firm is seeking interns to assist in the following:
• Online marketing through Social Networking – such as Facebook, Ryze and LinkedIn
• International outreach through developing contacts with fashion schools and other avenues
• Researching the internet for fashion websites and developing strategic alliances
• Researching fashion magazines for potential strategic alliances
• Blogging about fashion products based on research in fashion magazines and internet
• Writing press releases and creating fashion picks for the season
• Pulling out fashion magazine articles and compiling them as reference materials in binders
• Research online for latest fashion trends
• Placing ads on Craig’s List
Internship is an unpaid 3 month commitment for 8 hours a week on either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday in our office in San Francisco near Union Square.
Ideal candidates have a fashion school background and should posses good writing skills, have keen knowledge of fashion and shopping trends, and are eager to learn new marketing techniques as well as learn back office and operations of a business.
This is a great resume-building opportunity as interns will work directly with the Director of Public Relations.
