Merchandising Intern (chictweak.com/ Bindya)
We are currently seeking 2 interns to assist Sales and Merchandising of our new e-commerce site.
About us:
We are a small, fast-paced office with a great atmosphere. We have launched a new website, where fashionistas flock to “tweak their style” by shopping for the latest trends in high-end and celebrity adored scarves and accessories.
Internship candidates must be available immediately and be able to commit to a 2-3 month period. We will consider both full and part-time applicants. Internship is unpaid but there is a potential for employment, and the experienced gained is invaluable.
Proposed Work Schedule:
- 2 to 4 days a week - 20+ hours per week
Responsibilities Include:
- Updating and maintaining excel spreadsheets
- Assistance in sample and stock organization
- Assistance in processing online orders and customer service
- Provide office support and assist administrative duties of sales team and department executives
Requirements:
- E-commerce experience is a big plus!- but not necessary
- An interest and understanding of fashion trends and business cycles
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work with a team and to think independently
- Must be professional, enthusiastic and organized
- Must be familiar with Word and Excel.
