Spring 2011 Retail Operations Internship
The Retail Operations Intern will support the Retail Development team in all aspects of sales and operations for the North American boutiques. Responsibilities will include the following:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist developing store-line incentive programs to be implemented in the field
General administrative management, including maintaining on-line corporate department schedules and files
Assist with creation of Dior boutique bios for the entire North America market
Creation of North American map detailing retail locations and their teams
Additional projects as assigned
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to take initiative and work independently at times
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly when facing new problems
Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work under rigid timelines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and show flexibility due to change in business demands
Strong interest in fashion or prior fashion/corporate office experience is preferred
Must be able to receive academic credit for internship
