iSTYLE Media Graphic Design Intern (NY)

iStyle Media is seeking a truly independent and motivated intern who can tap into their creativity and ingenuity to contribute to a tight knit team. An ideal candidate would be an independent, fashion-forward thinker with a voracious appetite for new media (Twitter, blogs, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.) who thrives off of constant change. We are the exact opposite of a coffee-fetching internship, we expect you to be an integral, vocal part of the team.

Duties include:
-designing presentations and pitches using Keynote/Powerpoint (wireframes, mockups, etc.)
-experimenting and troubleshooting new User Interfaces; creating tutorials for clients
-contributing ideas and feedback on upcoming projects
-doing web design for marketing materials (business cards, logos, icons)
-Updating, customizing and enhancing social media forums like Tumblr and twitter

Requirements: Passion for fashion and style a MUST. Actively plugged into new media. MUST be MAC proficient, especially concerning Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Keynote; HTML/CSS knowledge a valuable plus. CURRENTLY live around the NYC area and be ready to start immediately. This is an unpaid internship; school credit is available. There is also room to grow within the company, depending on your performance.
