Design Internship- Eileen Fisher (New York, NY)

Collaborate and assist in the design and development of styles for each season. Support the Director of Design and designers both creatively and administratively as needed.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist supporting in all aspects of the design process, including process related administrative duties as they arise.
2. Prepares and updates spec packages for each garment on the line.
3. Organizes and helps maintain sample closets, boards and development books.
4. Special projects as needed.


PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.

Supervises: N/A
Reports to: Facilitating Leader of the Design Process and/or Creative Process Leader

Has Contact With: Design Team, Core Concept Team, Merchandising, Manufacturing, and Product Development.

Required Skills

Education: Must be currently enrolled in an AAS or BFA in Fashion Design program.
Experience: Prior internship or Design related academic experience.
Additional: Must be creative, motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
