Cool New York fashion showroom is looking for an eager PR intern as well as a Sales intern with a great eye for Fashion and Merchandising. Great opportunity to work with amazing men's and women's clothing lines from Paris, London and New York. You will learn about the fashion public relations and wholesale industries while gaining valuable experience working on everything from fashion week events to trade shows. The ideal candidate should be a people person, organized, ambitious and have a deep love of fashion. This is a non-paid position but you will receive thousands of dollars worth of clothing as compensation.
PR INTERN DUTIES AND TASKS:
-Work directly with PR Manager
-Manage editor pulls and returns
-Assist with client press clippings
-Compile press kits
-Work on fashion events
-Support administratively as needed
-Assist with PR initiatives
SALES INTERN DUTIES AND TASKS:
-Work directly with Sales manager
-Merchandising skills (good eye for colors and fabrics)
-Update Excel files and sales lists
-Work on fashion events
-Support administratively as needed
-Assist with Sales initiatives
INTERN REQUIREMENT:
-Working knowledge of Word and Excel
-Fashion, Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, and PR majors preferred
-Minimum commitment of 3 days/week from 10:00am-6:00pm
