Small, hip, hair and makeup agency representing some the industry\’s top
talent is looking for a individual with an interest in fashion & beauty.
This is an internship, an administrative position for a detail-oriented
dynamo. Most important? Strong communication & organizational skills, and an
absolute knowledge of Apple for Photoshop, Quickbooks and Office. While we
prefer some experience in the fashion/beauty editorial industry, above all,
we are seeking someone who can inject a sense of urgency into even the most
tiresome task, who has an overall ability to solve problems quickly in a
fast-paced, but intimate environment. You. You studied Avedon. You have
shopped at sample sales. You, male or female, have used concealer or
experimented with bleach. We. We are a laid-back, but very hard-working
group of people with cool clients and we need strong assistance. We want
someone great on our team. A self-starter. A team-player. A sharp tack.
What\’s in it for you? $20 a day for lunch, a sudden knowledge of how the
fashion photography business works, and a useful reference from the boss
when you\’re done. Maybe a job.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: (more will be added, no doubt)
- answering phones, filing, scanning images and maintaining website
- invoicing and bill collections
- maintaining artist portfolios and tear sheet system.
- photo-production for fashion advertising campaigns and editorials
