MODELINIA.COM Looking for a Spring/Summer editorial intern
Modelinia is looking for a full time intern who is passionate about models and the modeling/fashion industry. Perspective Intern acknowledges that this is an unpaid internship and should be able to devote at least 24 hours (3 full days) a week over the course of approximately 15 weeks. This very
“hands on” internship is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in fashion/beauty online publishing. Internship starts immediately.
Job duties include (but not limited to):
• Providing assistance to Editors and Office Administrator when needed
• Researching information on models, fashion, beauty and charities
• Basic office clerical work ie: (coping, faxing, filing, sending messengers)
• Assisting our Photo Editor and Researcher with photo research
• Contacting PR/fashion/beauty companies on behalf of Modelinia
Requirements:
• A basic working knowledge of the running of an editorial website
• Prior knowledge of Internet operations, Blogging, Photoshop, CMS, and photo research a plus
• Previous experience at a publication in a fashion/beauty capacity a plus
• Should be articulate and very organized
• Ability to write fun articles and promotional copy if needed
• Positive, reliable, and has a “can do” attitude
• Passion for all things model related
• College credit can be provided for applicants who are current students
