There are two major blogs that I am in need of an intern for. The two websites are as the following:
Styleaholics www.styleaholics.com/blog and TRACE Magazine http://blog.trace21.com
Both will be Editorial internships but are very different in who they are targeting:
Styleaholics is a website in partnership with GLAM Network. It is a fashion oriented website that deals with Fashion Trends, Indie Designer Interviews & Write-Ups, Interviews with Stylish people doing things and Event Coverage of Fashion-Oriented Events.. Also telling about possible Internship Possibilities within the Fashion Industry. We also go to Fashion Week in NYC and cover roughly around 10 -15 shows every 6 months.
For this internship, I will need for you to:
- Interview individuals who can be a part of Styleaholic Of The Day, a column that runs every 2 weeks
- Write-Up about Indie Designers, Fashion Oriented Events, Tell the readers about interesting events coming up and possibly covering them.
- Must have around 7 - 12 posts a month
- Also cite and photo current fashion trends that people have in the streets or at events
TRACE Magazine is a transculturally diverse magazine that now will be using the blog as a online publication because it will be published only quarterly (4 times a year). Collectively the group alongside myself as the Editor-In-Chief of the Blog, talk about politics, fashion, music, art, etc. These individuals are part of the artists community and are very in tune with anything new and exciting.
For this internship, I will need for you to:
-Assist me on the planning and executing fashion shoots
-Write around 5 - 8 posts a month.. the blog normally runs Mon - Thursday with 2 posts a day
-You will receive a user name and password to enter the trace blog system
-Update me every week on your progress
-Attend events with me to do meet and greets / I will also sometimes need for you to cover any events that I can’t attend.
