Apparel and Accessories Intern Position (Lower East Side)

Miss Lonelyhearts, a new women’s boutique in the Lower East Side, is seeking an intern to help us out. Must be high energy, fun, friendly, trustworthy individual who loves fashion and is up for taking on whatever task that needs to get done. Great opportunity to gain experience. Intern can also participate in design meetings, trend forecasting and learn part of the design process.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Help Manage samples

- Source materials

- Assisting with creation of tech packs

- Market research

- Creating and maintaining binders

- Work with Design Team

- Daily General Office Tasks

 Skills:

- Willingness to learn

- Mac Proficient

- Drawing a Plus

- General working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Applications

- Good writing skills

- Independent worker

 Design/Fashion student (or related field) or recent college grad is preferred for this position.

 Position is unpaid.
