Looking for talented candidates in LA area

This is an internship for people who are 100% dedicated and truly love their work. We are a boutique PR agency and we are looking for people who can step in and make an immediate impact. We are looking for highly energetic, driven positive go-getters, we need you to make things happen!!! Looking for LA area applicants only. Flexibility for start date of the position depending on your availability. *Please Note: Interview Process will be Filmed for Potential TV Series. Footage to be used internally but all Applicants Must Agree to be Filmed for this Project.

Candidate will assist in:
*Pitching major magazines for editorial, fashion spreads, profiles, and interest pieces
*Developing new product lines (branding, packaging)
*Creating marketing collateral (press kits, websites, press release, displays, etc.)
*Help in designing newsletters promoting our clients.
*Celebrity product placement
*Help establish systems and databases for sending out packages to potential promotional partners, and for proper follow-up
*Take on and assist in numerous research projects
*Spend some time learning and closely tracking trends weekly
*Help prepare and update press kits and brand packages
*Data entry, copying, filing and FedEx shipment
*Assist as needed on one time projects including preparation for tradeshows, presentations, and other such events.
*Designing and updating Myspace websites
*Managing and arranging products in our showroom
*Graphics/Photoshop

Requirements

*The candidate must be extremely organized and have excellent communication and writing skills
* Laptop computer (Mac preferred)
* Willingness to learn and work hard
* Detail oriented
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong people skills
* Must be reliable, motivated, and organized
* Multi-tasking capabilities
* Team player
* Reliable transportation
* Close attention to detail
* Extremely computer Savvy! Proficient with Microsoft Office and the Internet. Photoshop a plus.
* Prioritizing projects and completing them in a timely manner
