Responsibilities, requirements & duties include:
-1-2 Minimum fashion industry experience or fashion degree and internships
-Very hard worker
-Driving (must have a reliable car)
-Ability to make decisions and act logically under pressure
-Detail oriented, responsible & able to work independently on a project until it's completed
-Organized with excellent communication skills for frequent contact with designer (must have cellphone in constant working condition)
-Ability to oversee the printing and assembly of lookbooks/catalogues.
-Maintain flexible hours around a changing work cycle that is seasonally based
-Have a keen eye for fashion, fabrics & trims. Be able to make sound aesthetic decisions based on design continuity
-Ability to juggle tasks and follow through until they are completed without reminders
-Knowledge of fashion terminology and processes
-Resource fabrics and production contacts
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude
-Experience with photoshop and layout a plus
I'm looking for someone who wants to learn and be a part of all aspects of running and producing a contemporary women's separates line. I have been a functioning designer with my own lines for over 12 years, and would like to find my right hand. If you are looking for full-time work, there may be an option for this as well.
