OVERALL FUNCTION:
We seek an outstanding college senior or recent grad for our (Jan-June) intern program who can work ideally full-time or at least 20 hours per week.
We’re a San Francisco/ NYC based independent national lifestyle public relations firm.
Our clients are a variety of consumer, fashion and beauty products and services. Our interns must be extraordinary individuals who will benefit from an intensive program of mentoring with many of the same professional activities that you would have if you joined us in a regular status position.
You may not have the PR experience – that’s why you seek an internship. If you give us your all, we’ll guarantee you one of the most exciting experiences of your college years. We’ll also give you support to speed your post-college success in a number of ways, ranging from experience and skills
development through introductions, references and referrals.
To qualify, you must:
Be a college senior or post-grad still seeking the right focus for yourself, with a combination of at least one internship and/or summer jobs in a business environment.
Intern will be responsible for twitter searches, facebook fans, flickr updates and other new media initiatives
Be driven to determine your ability to enjoy and excel in the field of public relations.
Be able to work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week – although 20 hours per week minimum will be considered.
Have an interest in modern design or fashion and beauty
