A summer 2009 internship with Liz Claiborne Inc., in NYC and New Jersey. During internship you gain hands-on and learning experience through individual projects, meetings, and workshops in their respective departments. Interns even get to have "breakfast meetings" with Directors, Vice Presidents, and the CEO of Liz Claiborne Inc.
Internship begins June 1st and ends August 7th 2009. Interns are expected to work 40 hrs./wk and are paid $10/hr (Undergrad) or $25/hr (MBA). Positions available in NYC and North Bergen, NJ.
Responsibilities:
-support execution of financial plans
-Manage individual store inventory
-Review product performance at style and region/store level
Qualifications:
-Analytical/Math skills
-Accuracy
-Task Managements
-Store line sales or stock experience is a plus
-Ability to recommend strategies and develop a business case
-Microsoft application experience, specifically excel
School Qualifications:
-Rising Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate Student
-Min. GPA of 2.8
-Prior retail experience advantageous, but not required.
