Paid Summer Internship with Ketchum pubic relation company- Dallas, TX

Intern with one of the widely known, international public relations firm. While interning at Ketchum's Dallas office, you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Develop and maintain media lists
Prepare pitch letters and pitch media
Attend client and team meetings
Assist in research for new business opportunities and client presentations
Assist with event coordination
Participate in agency events
Attend seminars and field trips

Minimum Qualifications include:
College student between junior and senior year
Excellent written and verbal skills
Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Must have basic understanding of PR through course work or prior work experience

Interns will be assigned to account teams in brand marketing, corporate practice, or technology practice.

Internship runs from June 1, 2009-August 21, 2009. Application can be completed at Ketchum.com and must be submitted by February 27, 2009. After application submission interviews will take place via phone during March and April. Final offers extended April 17th, 2009. Note this is a PAID internship.
